A few months ago it was announced that Pete Travis (Director of Vantage Point) would be helming a reboot of Judge Dredd. The new film simply titled DREDD, stars Karl Urban as Judge Joseph Dredd and today we got our first look at the Urban in full Dredd gear.
Everyone's problem with the 1995 film, Judge Dredd seems to stem from its PG-13 rating and it's lack of violence, which the comics the films are based on have plenty of, and then some. But Travis has assured fans of Dredd, that this film will be a hard-R.
DREDD hits theaters in 2012.
