I am very sad to have to write this blog to inform you that beloved character actor and funny man Leslie Nielsen has passed away at the age of 84. Reports say that he was in the hospital battling Pneumonia and while there he quietly passed on.
Nielsen won the hearts of comedy lovers the world over with roles in films like Airplane!, The Naked Gun films, and in Mel Brooks' Dracula: Dead and Loving It. His deep voice and knack for comedic time and physical acting made him one of the greatest comedic actors of all time and I am sad that we will never get to see the man in another film. But I am also happy that we have such a great body of work to look back on and remember Leslie Nielsen.
