Originally Liam Neeson was signed on for Steven Spielberg's Abraham Lincoln biography, but because it took so long to get off the ground he dropped out. The production seemingly had halted and everyone expected that film would never get made.
However, it was announced earlier that the production was back on track and that Daniel Day Lewis was hired to play the 16th President of the United States. So with their lead cast and Spielberg wrapping up productions on both Tin-Tin and War Horse, it looks like we'll finally get to see Lincoln on the big screen once again. But it is anyone's guess exactly when it'll happen.
