Paul W.S. Anderson is moving on from blood-thirsty zombies (at least for now) and making a period piece?
Yep, that is correct! The Resident Evil director will be taking on Alexandre Dumas' epic book The Three Musketeers and turning it into a visually stunning and entertaining action movie, hopefully!
Joining him is his long time co-star and wife, Milla Jovovich. Who will co-star alongside Luke Evans, Ray Stevenson, Logan Lerman and Matthew Mcfadyen as the Musketeers.
But wait! There's more!
Playing the baddies of the film are Orlando Bloom, Mads Mikkelsen, and Christoph Waltz as the vile Cardinal Richelieu. Bloom will be playing the Duke of Buckingham sworn enemy of France and whom together with the help of the Cardinal. Plan on murdering King Louis and taking over the country.
So here is your first look at the trio of Musketeers accompanied by a young wanna-be, D'Artagnan.
