Kevin Smith Releases 4 Photos from His Latest Film RED STATE

With COP OUT not doing so well at the box-office, it was back to basics for director Kevin Smith who is better at writing and directing his own stuff then tackling somebody else's stuff. With RED STATE, Smith looks like he will be unleashing something unlike anything we have seen from the guy who brought us CLERKS.

The plot synopsis (courtesy of IMDB) says that RED STATE is:

"A horror film in which a group of misfits encounter fundamentalism gone to the extreme in Middle America."

The films stars John Goodman, Kevin Pollak, Michael Parks, and Stephen Root and will be hitting theaters in 2011.
